9000 students of Kozminski University continue their education online. The university authorities have transferred over 90 percent of the bachelor's and master's degree courses conducted in Polish, 98 percent of those conducted in English, and 100 percent of the MBA programs to a virtual environment. The University supports its entire environment online - teachers, high school students, seniors and all those interested in enriching their knowledge or if they are in need of any support or assistance.

It took the university only 48 hours to train the lecturers. All this was done in order to remotely maintain the existing teaching standards. For lecturers who cannot give lectures and courses from the comforts of their homes, there are teaching rooms available at the university with equipment for conducting online classes.

- The first two full weeks of online activities are now behind us. When the decision was made at the national level to suspend classes at universities, we decided to put all hands on deck and the digital transformation planned many months earlier was implemented in a few days. Our goal was to provide students with immediate continuity of classes at the highest possible level. With the enormous effort of our teaching staff and IT specialists, we launched a remote teaching mode in two days. In the first days we trained our employees practically nonstop so that they know how to effectively implement e-learning, even after 10 p.m. - says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Kozminski University.

Maciej Madziński, Chief Operating Officer at Kozminski University, adds that in the period 16-29 March, the university conducted on average 132 classes every day.

- It is often said that universities prepare students for life that does not exist. Kozminski University teaches us everyday how to adapt to the changing environment, communicate and cooperate, as well as how to think critically and solve problems. These competences correspond to what we experience today from our university - says Zuzanna Staniszewska, a second-year Masters' student in management.

During the closure of the schools/universities due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kozminski University invites everyone to free online courses under the slogan "#stayathome and join our online courses!". The courses are organized every week until further notice. More information here.

The basic platform for remote education at Kozminski University is currently Microsoft Teams.
