Prof. Ewa Łętowska PhD spoke about the need to take a gender perspective in legal sciences. She argued that it is a much better solution than simply equalizing the rights of women to the standard created by men, as "the rights of women and men are equal but not the same".

Prof. Monika Płatek PhD, of Warsaw University, pointed the attention of participants to the fact that women have been eliminated from the legal language, she also discussed examples of the penal law and how unfavorable it sometimes is for women in cases related to self defense, abortion, domestic violence and rape. Both presentations caused lively discussions.
