The Rector, Prof. Andrzej K Koźmiński became a member of the National Development Council of the Republic of Poland

The National Development Council was created as a opinion-creating and advisory gremium for the Presidend of the Republic of Poland. on January 7, 2010 Prof. Andrzej K. Koźmiński was nominated as one of the members of the Council.

"The NDC includes outstanding representatives of academic communities - we read on the website of the Office of The President - scientists representing such fields as: macroeconomics, finance, law, sociology, social policy, spatial economy, European integration or energy. Leaders of the main labor unions and employers' organizations are also members of the council. (...) The President would like the National Development Council to define key challenges and evaluate the dangers of socio-economical development of Poland, to classify programs in this area and formulate strategic goals".
